BL Choy - Hong Kong Observatory
Joining the Hong Kong Observatory in the early 90s, Mr. Choy has been in the business of developing meteorological applications in the past 30 years. Recent works include MyFlightWx, an iPad app for pilots, as well as the Aviation Decision Support (ADS) website to further explore the impact of real-time immersive presentation of weather information to stakeholders. Mr. Choy currently leads the World Meteorological Organization Task Team on Aviation Data to develop new representations of meteorological information. He is also a member of ICAO working groups that develop new information services for future aviation.
Christy Leung - Hong Kong Observatory
Christy Leung is a meteorologist with rich experience in weather forecasting, aviation weather, weather data analytics and model post-processing. She worked as a professional meteorologist in the Hong Kong Observatory for over 10 years, performing duties as weather forecaster and weather presenter occasionally. In recent years, Christy worked under the International Aviation Meteorological Collaboration division specializing in aeronautical meteorological observation and forecasting, regional collaboration and MET-ATM applications.
