Dr Rachel Clarke
Dr Rachel Clarke is an NHS palliative care doctor and the author of three Sunday Times bestselling non-fiction books. The most recent of these, Breathtaking (2021), reveals how she and her colleagues confronted the first wave of the Covid-19, and aired last month as a major television series on ITV. Dear Life (2020), depicts her work in an NHS hospice and was shortlisted for the 2020 Costa Biography Award, long-listed for the 2020 Baillie Gifford Prize and chosen as a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week. Your Life in My Hands (2017) documents her life as a junior doctor.
Before going to medical school, Rachel was a broadcast journalist. She produced and directed current affairs documentaries focusing on subjects such as Al Qaeda, the Iraq War and the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She continues to write for the Times, Sunday Times, Guardian and others, and gives regular television and radio interviews. She has travelled to Ukraine on two occasions since war was declared to train local palliative care doctors. Last year she founded a UK-registered charity, Hospice Ukraine, to continue supporting the work of palliative care teams in Ukraine.
Rachel lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, two children and labrador puppy.
Phillipe Duchateau - Chief Test Pilot
Philippe Duchateau is Dassault Aviation’s Chief Test Pilot, responsible for civil and military programs.
He has been a test pilot at Dassault Aviation for about 20 years. Previously, he was the head of a fighter squadron in the French Air Force and a graduate of École de l’air et de l’espace. At Dassault Aviation, he manages a team of 30 pilots and engineers who are not only test aircraft but provide critical input for the development of new models and upgrades. Today he is one of the project pilots for the all new Falcon 10X.
A passionate aviator, he also volunteers his time to instruct the next generation of pilots.
Richard Lovatt - Lead CAM, TAG Aviation Asia
Richard first moved to Asia with his family in 2006, joining the newly-created TAG Asia in Beijing. He has lived and worked in China and Hong Kong ever since, with TAG Asia and other local operators.
Richard is currently assigned to a Gulfstream G650ER with a private owner, operating to worldwide destinations.
Before joining TAG, Richard served for 21 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, spending most of his time as a pilot on VIP transport aircraft, and as a flying instructor.
When not flying Richard likes to spend time with his wife and children back home in Australia.
David Clarke - Chief Pilot TAG Aviation Europe
Dave has been part of the TAG Pilot Management team for over 12 years and is currently Chief Pilot (Europe) and CAM of a Challenger 650. Before embracing the challenges of Business Aviation, Dave started flying at 17 years old, and joined the Royal Air Force after University.
During a 16-year military career he flew the Tornado F3 fighter, including Combat Missions over Iraq during the 2003 war, and instructed on various aircraft.
